Branding
Name and Logo
Outlanders is named after those who are seeking out something different than their normal routine. 


  
  
Color, Type, Brand Assets
My color choices are based on the more grungier and dirtier aspects of the outdoors. They are muted yet still engaging and eye-catching when used well together. 

My sans-serif type pairs nicely with the serif logotype I have and provides contrast and diversity within my branding.

I custom-made brushes in Adobe Illustrator so I could perfect the style I wanted for my background textures. I created some graphics I can use throughout the brand to create more consistency.

Any photograph and or texture in this capstone was entirely made by me.
Hand Outs
Print Materials
All marketing materials are printed on recycled paper.

​​​​​​​The brochure is targeted towards college campuses to learn more information about Outlanders and our workshops. It provides details on who we are, what we do, and why we work. 

The workshop overview is given out during the first meeting of the workshop to go over the schedule and any gear you'll need that isn't supplied. 
The folder is also given out during the first meeting of the workshop.
The postcard is given out after they complete the workshop. For example, if RIT went to Letchworth State Park, the students would get this keepsake postcard to either hang on their wall or send to their loved ones at the end of their weekend.

Hands-on Process
For my senior project, I learned how to embroider and screenprint on clothing (and sketchbooks).

Getting to make tangible objects for my project reminded me of exactly why we need to do more things that aren't digital. There were endless challenges and opportunities to grow.

I photographed college students wearing my merchandise to provide more visuals that my audience can connect with.

The banners are used to promote the workshop to college students on campus and can be used while tabling.
